Liquid Bronze develop Workhub

Shelves full of files, stacks of invoices waiting to be processed and a diary full of catch-up meetings are set to become things of the past – the future of managing your business, according to software development firm Liquid Bronze, is online.

Liquid Bronze, based at Manchester Science Park, have developed Workhub, a new extranet system which aims to provide businesses and their customers with a secure means of managing documents, tracking jobs and staying in touch in real time.

“In the past medium sized companies tended to use a mix of faxes, emails and shared spreadsheets to manage everything but this isn’t an ideal way of keeping on top of work flow and the need to respond quickly to customer queries,” explained Andrew Threlfall, Liquid Bronze Director.

“Workhub aims to resolve that by providing an online system to manage all aspects of work flow, from job assignment through to tracking progress and completion, as well as acting as a web portal for line managers, staff and customers to communicate quickly and easily.”

Liquid Bronze in conjunction with Leeds based media solution consultancy Xsolve, partners on the project, officially launched Workhub on the market this summer, and have already signed a number of clients up to the system.

“Workhub is primarily aimed at the middle ground of companies, who want to demonstrate they have a quality assurance, work flow system in place but perhaps don’t have the resources to invest in the expensive technology used by larger corporations,” explained Andrew.

“As developers, for us Workhub is all about opening up new technology to businesses of all sizes and from all sectors in a way that benefits both the company and their clients, making life easier for everyone,” he concluded.

Scalable and secure; Workhub operates on a permission only basis, is accessible online from anywhere in the world and is fully backed up by a secure hosting system
